A Police 0fficer pictured smoking weed in Ijora area of Lagos State has been identified and would face disciplinary actions, according to authorities.

The Officer was identified as ASP Babatunde Adebayo and is serving at Shogunle Division of Lagos State Police Command.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the State Police Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed the immediate commencement of appropriate disciplinary measures commensurate with his rank.

CP Alabi has also warned Officers and men of the Command to stay clear of all unprofessional and unethical conduct as any Officer found guilty of these acts will be severely sanctioned.
