All Policemen detailed for patrol, stop and search, checkpoint duties must be on their approved uniform, not T-shirts with inscriptions like Special Forces, Commando, MOPOL, Scorpion, according to the Acting Force Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

No Policeman is expected to stand on any road dressed in mufti or disapproved T-shirts.

He noted that this directive was to ensure easy identification and authority as every Police uniform must bear a name and Force number for other ranks, adding that any Policeman found wanting will be arrested and dealt with.
