The FCT Police Command has made considerable moves to relax the restriction of movement as earlier announced for the FCT Area Council Election scheduled to take place on Saturday, 12th of February, 2022.

Therefore, residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are free to go about their normal activities and legitimate business without the fear of harassment or molestation of any kind from any quarters, the Command Spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, said in a statement on Friday.

The Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Babaji Sunday, while assuring the public of the provision of a water-tight security before, during, and after the election, urges them to come out in their numbers to vote for candidates of their choice.
