In conclusion of the two-day retreat for Senior Police Officers in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc((+), NPM, fdc, presented an award on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force to five individuals.

The recipients of the awards are the Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu; Chief Executive Officer of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Efiong Akwa; Chairman of Innoson Group of Companies, Dr. Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma; and Chairman of Premier Lotto Nigeria Limited, Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu, presented with the Distinguished Service Award.

Also, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Idom Emmanuel, was presented with a Distinguished Leadership Award.

According to the IGP, these individuals have aided the Force in optimal service delivery.
