Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Jephthah Robert, a cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He was reportedly kidnapped at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Although circumstances surrounding his abduction are still unknown, the Police say they are working on a promising lead.
The State Police Command Spokesperson, SP Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident, noting that he was picked up at Dimrose Road in Yenagoa.
We are intensifying efforts to rescue him and arrest the kidnappers, he assured.
