The Police in Zamfara State has arrested a man, Aminu Baba, who has confessed to buying and eating human parts.
The father of 19 identified the human throat as the most delicious part, adding that he sells some unwanted body parts.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba Elkanah, who paraded the suspect on Thursday, said his revelations are aiding the Police to arrest other members of his gang.
Other persons involved in cannibalism and dealing in human parts were also arrested and paraded. An intestine, esophagus, penis, and two eyes were recovered as exhibits.
During interrogation, one of the suspects arrested confessed that he was contracted to source for human parts at the sum of five hundred thousand naira (N500,000), which he successfully before his arrest, the CP added.
Meanwhile, the CP called on the public to acknowledge the effort of security agencies in combating crimes and criminalities in the State and continue to pray for the sustenance of peace and tranquillity in Zamfara State.
